Directions to Clewiston

Clewiston, "America's Sweetest Town," was developed in the 1920's, incorporated in 1925, and occupies 4.57 square miles in Hendry County.  Today, it is a friendly little town of approximately 6,500 people - way out in the middle of everywhere - 60 miles east of Fort Myers on the Gulf of Mexico and 60 miles west of Palm Beach on the Atlantic Ocean.  Through more than a half-century of growth, our town has kept its charm and beauty.

Clewiston’s City Market is located at the Civic Park downtown Clewiston.  The market is open on the 3rd Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. , in December 2008 through February 2009.  The Market is not intended to be a flea market.  Vendors should plan to arrive at the market site by 7:30 a.m.  All vendors are expected to remain in their designated area until the 12:00 p.m. closing even if they have sold out of product.  The Market Manager assigns spaces.  The City Market is for LOCAL VENDORS ONLY.
